This Garlic Knots Recipe is so easy to make it’s even faster, and better than ordering them from your local pizzeria! Adding Parmesan cheese obviously makes them even better! They are chewy on the inside and golden brown and buttery on the outside!
Thanks to Rhodes Frozen Dough for sponsoring today’s post! As always all opinions are my own.
You guys already know we live an hour away from Pizza Hut. We can’t use Door Dash out here on the farm. My family was at my brother’s house one day and they ordered pizza. My kids were so confused when the pizza delivery guy brought pizza right to their door. “Mom! Why did that guy bring pizza to their house?” I know it’s crazy but they didn’t know anything about pizza delivery!
So, you know we’re on our own when it comes to getting garlic knots! It’s homemade or bust. Maybe we should say semi-homemade since these babies are made from Rhodes frozen rolls!
I know there are lots of recipes out there for garlic parmesan knots made with biscuits. Those canned biscuits just don’t do anything for me. I mean they’re really not even like pizza dough, and pizza dough scraps are what pizza restaurants use to make their garlic knots.
We love to make homemade pizza dough around here, but I don’t always have time for that. Actually most days I don’t have time. Rhodes frozen dough tastes like pizza dough without the hassle. And it the best garlic knots. It takes about 20 minutes of hands-on time to make them.
How to make Garlic Knots.
- Thaw Rhodes Rolls according to package instructions.
- Roll/stretch rolls into a rope about 8″ long. To make them a bite size appetizer cut each roll in half before pulling into a rope.
- Tie ropes into a knot and tuck the ends under. Don’t worry if the knots aren’t perfect. No one will notice!
- Melt butter in the microwave. Add garlic paste or garlic powder, chopped parsley, a dash of salt, and pepper. Reserve half for later. Brush over knots.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and brush with more butter and sprinkle with more Parmesan cheese.
- Serve with marinara sauce.
How to reheat Garlic Knots.
Garlic Knots are best eaten fresh from the oven. If you have leftovers reheating them definitely can be done.
Just warm them in the microwave for a few seconds and they’ll be delish!
What to serve with Garlic Knots.
Garlic Knots are one of my favorite recipes to serve along with these other easy appetizer recipes!
They’re also really good with any Italian food like Slow Cooker Cheesy Tortellini, Baked Ravioli Casserole, and Macaroni and Cheese with Ham.
Soups are always better served with cheesy bread and these garlic knots are so comforting with homemade soup like Homemade Tomato Soup, Chicken Chowder, Chicken Tortellini Soup, Slow Cooker Beef Stew, and White Chicken Chili.
