Ingredients in Greek Yogurt Popsicles
The ingredients you’ll need to make chocolate peanut butter Popsicles are simple! Here’s a rundown on what you’ll need!
- Greek Yogurt – Vanilla is best! You can use plain too, but it will be tangier unless you also add 2 Tablespoons of honey.
- Peanut Butter Chips- You could also use peanut butter too; creamy, chunky, whatever!
- Chocolate Chips – Milk chocolate, semi-sweet, or even chopped up candy bars
- Honey – Optional, but it really does make the yogurt pops sweeter, plus it’s a natural sweetener so you can feel good about it!
How to make Peanut Butter Greek Yogurt Popsicles Recipe
There are a few little tricks to making this Greek yogurt pops recipe! Some readers said the Greek yogurt mixture was lumpy before adding it to the popsicle molds. I’m going to walk you through it so they’ll make creamy Popsicle’s.
STEP 1: Add chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for one minute. Stir. If the chocolate isn’t completely melted microwave for 15 more seconds, then stir. Repeat until the chocolate is smooth. Set aside to cool until it’s still stirrable but cooled.
STEP 2: Add peanut butter chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for one minute. Stir. If the chocolate isn’t completely melted microwave for 15 more seconds, then stir. Repeat until the chocolate is smooth. Set aside to cool until it’s still stirrable but cooled.
STEP 3: Divide the yogurt in half and add half to each bowl of chocolate chips. Stir until smooth.
STEP 4: I like to add the Greek yogurt mixture to a sealable bag and snip one corner off then squeeze it into the molds. Mixture can also be spooned into molds.
STEP 5: Add a layer of peanut butter mixture to the molds. Top with a layer of chocolate mixture. Repeat twice more.
STEP 6: Tap molds gently on the counter top to knock the air bubbles out.
STEP 7: Freeze for 4-6 hours. The amount of time it takes to freeze the pops will depend on how big your molds are.

I tried this recipe last night and was so excited to see how they turned out that I had TWO for breakfast the following morning! I did experience the clumpy chocolate mixture as the other reviewer had, but I simply blended the mixture (btw I made it w/ leftover milk chocolate candy, a teaspoon of espresso powder and a teaspoon of organic cocoa powder) in a food processor and it came out smooth and uniform. Also, I used crunchy peanut butter in place of the peanut butter chips and maple syrup for the honey. Excellent substitutions. It was a tangy first bite (or lick), but this choco-peanut taste is out of this world. Also, I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist by day, so I was happy to find a treat high in protein, calcium and without refined sugar. So glad I found you on Google! xx

Made these and had a problem. When I mixed the melted chips in with the yogurt, the chips turned lumpy. I could not get the mixture smooth. I then tried blending with an immersion blender with no improvement. What did I do wrong? They look wonderful in your photos and would love to make them.
Amy Engberson says
Darn it. When you are adding yogurt to the melted chocolate be sure you add a little at a time. If you add too much at once it will cool the chocolate too quickly and make it get lumpy. Hopefully that helps!
