i am 56 years old and my favorite doughnut is the pink frosting Fruity Pebble sprinkled one from the little shop down the street, so I am 100% certain I will LOVE this waffle too! Maybe paired with a fruity type of syrup, like blueberry or warmed thinned jam. Thanks again for a great breakfast idea!

These waffles look like the perfect breakfast! Curious as to what waffle iron you use?

My waffle iron is a Hamilton Beach. It’s a basic waffle iron although I would love to get a nice one!

How cute! My kids would freak if I made this for them for breakfast!

My kids would FLIP for these! I do have a waffle iron, so I think I’ll be making these very soon. Thanks for such a fun recipe!

My almost 6 year old is awful to get to eat breakfast too. He will eat Eggo (no generic brand) waffles, or sometimes oatmeal. Sometimes he refuses to eat and goes to school without breakfast. Good thing they eat at 10:40! I’m positive both of my boys would love these waffles though! Every kid loves Fruity Pebbles! I’d love it if you would link this yummy recipe up to the Thursday S.T.Y.L.E. Link Party. It just went live tonight! http://addicted2diy.com/2014/02/27/thursday-s-t-y-l-e-link-party-9/

I don’t know why I can’t talk my 6 year old into eating and I can’t talk myself out of eating! If I can trick him into eating breakfast with Fruity Pebbles that’s what I’m going to do! Good luck!

Thank you! I keep telling people I don’t cook certain things because I don’t want my hair to smell like food, but they don’t believe me! I have started wearing a beanie when I cook until the smell of the food is mostly gone. These are the most delicious looking waffles! Mmm
Amy Engberson says
That is so funny!I should totally start wearing a beanie along with my swim goggles that I use when I cut onions! We must both have really good noses! I haven’t decided if it’s a blessing or a curse!

I did catch the little hand in the jar of pebbles, him is so chubby. I thought everybody loved homemade waffles with lots of different syrups and toppings to try on top. Sounds like you made a believer out of your littlest thing. And I am sure his Dad was glad he ate his waffle so he could come out and help him.
