Raspberry Vanilla Fruit Salad is the perfect summer salad! Colorful fruits make this salad so pretty and a raspberry honey dressing gives it an extra special sweet flavor!
When I was growing up we ate lots of fruit and almost all of it was bottled fruit. I remember canning peaches, pears, cherries, and apricots for hours and hours. The fruit was good but I think I got a little burned out on eating bottled fruit. I crave fresh fruit all year long. Thank goodness it’s available all year long now. Plain ol fresh fruit hits the spot for me most of the time. But once in awhile, I want to make my fruit salad a little extra special by adding a little dressing. Raspberry Vanilla Fruit Salad happens to add a little sweetness and extra flavor to the already scrumptious fresh fruit. My boys don’t like healthy things as much as I do so they really enjoy the extra sweetness!
Choosing a variety of colors of fruit makes the salad extra pretty.
The raspberry vanilla part is easy too. Just mix together a little jam, honey, vanilla, and poppy seeds.
Pour it over cut up fruit and gently toss to coat. Serve immediately.
That’s all there is to it! Raspberry Vanilla Fruit Salad is so easy yet so yummy! Before you know it in season fruit is going to change to apples and oranges, which is yummy too. You really should make this salad before that happens though!
