Creamy Cinnamon Syrup is like pouring candy on your pancakes! This syrup transforms breakfast from ordinary to special.
Creamy Cinnamon Syrup is on of those things I could drink straight from the jar. It has milk in it, so…I think it should count for part of my 3 a day of dairy! Are you singing the “3 a day of dairy” song in your head? Good. Because that song was created with part of my National Dairy dues! You know it is important to get 3 servings of dairy everyday to stay healthy right? Unfortunately this syrup doesn’t count for a serving of dairy. Wash it down with a tall glass of cold milk!
Okay, I’m done talking about dairy consumption for the day. Warm Creamy Cinnamon Syrup is so decadently yummy. Switching maple syrup for this cinnamon syrup makes breakfast seem like and extra special treat. We love it on pancakes, French toast and waffles.
Did you see my post yesterday? You must check it out because these Speckled English Muffin French Toast are divine with Creamy Cinnamon Syrup. In my opinion, it’s the only way to eat them. Oh, I just had a random thought, this syrup would be excellent on vanilla ice cream.
Whatever you conjure up in your mind to serve this cinnamon syrup with I’m sure it will be scrumptious. Make it. Trust me. You will find something to pour it on. Or, you might just pour it straight in your mouth!

Hi Amy, I don’t get corn syrup in my country, but still would love to make this, since maple syrup is terribly expensive here too. Could you advise me on how to make it without cornsyrup, say could I add cornstarch or butter?
Amy Engberson says
Hey there! I think you could use honey instead of corn syrup and it would work just fine. I haven’t tried it before so let me know how it goes if you try it!

Just made this to go with apple pie. This recipe is amazing! ❤️ Thank you!

That sounds amazing right now! I think I might need to make an apple pie tomorrow!

I have a bottle of maple syrup in the cupboard, but nobody uses it since I started making cinnamon syrup. I cook for a family of ten and everyone loves this syrup. Thank you!

I LOVE this comment! This syrup is definitely a nice change of pace from maple syrup! Happy breakfast!

Yes and very cheap to make too, costs not much compared to the high prices of maple syrup.
Amy Engberson says
Yes! Homemade food is so much less expensive and so much tastier!

This looks so delicious. How long does it keep? Do you refrigerate? Thanks.
Amy Engberson says
I’m not exactly sure how long it keeps because we have never had any last over a day. My three boys eat about equal portions of syrup and French toast! Lol! I think it would be fine for at least a week!

This syrup looks incredible, Amy! I have never made my own syrup but would LOVE to try this one….I love that it’s cinnamon and that it’s creamy. Yummmm!!!
Amy Engberson says
Thanks Cathy! I could seriously serve this syrup by itself for breakfast and be happy!

I wondered whose hand that was pouring the syrup. I could tell that hand didn’t belong to one of your boys, and I didn’t think you could pour and snap a picture all at the same time, so now it makes sense it was Emily who was doing the pouring.
Printed this and will be trying it on the English Muffins.
