Apple Cider Syrup
Apple Cider Syrup is the best cozy, cinnamon syrup for pancakes, waffles, and French Toast! This recipe is made with apple juice or apple cider.

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 cups apple juice
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/4 cups butter
Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch to the saucepan. Whisk together.
Gradually add apple cider and lemon juice.
Cook and whisk over medium heat until thickened to desired consistency. This will take about 5-10 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter.
Serve warm over pancakes, waffles, French toast or ice cream.
Apple juice or apple cider may be used for this recipe.
Store leftover apple syrup in a jar, or another container for up to a week.
