Easy Turtle Cookies

Turtle Cookies are are going to satisfy your sweet tooth! These cookies are a fudgy cookie overloaded with chocolate, carmeal, and pecans! You don't even need a mixure to whip up these cookies!

Ingredients

  • 4 Tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 1/4 cups caramels
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoon shortening

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Micorwave butter until melted. Add 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 30 second increments, stirring after each one, until melted and smooth.
  • Add flour, pecans, anc caramel bits. Stir to combine.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls on parchment lined baking sheet. Bake 7-9 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for a few minutes then move to wire rack to completely cool.
  • To ice cookies, melt chocolate chips and shortenening in the micorwave until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.

Notes

Walnuts can be used instead of pecans.
